Carlos Nakai Quartet – RCNQ at the Kahilu Theatre (Friday, Oct. 18, 2019, at 7:30 p.m.). Mixing original compositions with inspired improvisation, the R. Carlos Nakai Quartet features R. Carlos Nakai on Native American flute, concert flute, trumpet, and vocals, backed by a talented trio of musicians. Tickets can be purchased at kahilutheatre.org, (808) 885-6868 or at the Kahilu Theatre Box Office located at 67-1186 Lindsey Road, Kamuela (Waimea).

Henry Kapono and band at Huggo’s (Friday, Oct. 18, 2019, from 6-9 p.m.). Huggo’s 50th Anniversary – A Charity Fundraiser. To celebrate 50 years of serving aloha, Huggos, On The Rocks, and the Alii Drive Lawn all become one big birthday bash. Dance to Grammy Museum Inductee and audience favorite Henry Kapono. 50% of all ticket Sales Go Directly to Selected Big Island Charities. Huggo’s is located at 75-5828 Kahakai Road in Kailua-Kona. Three Maui Divas: Amy Hānaiali’i, Nāpua Greig, and Raiatea Helm at the Kahilu Theatre (Saturday, October 19, 2019 at 7 p.m. and Sunday, October 20, 2019 at 2 p.m. This rare gathering of these beautiful Maui superstars will take place this weekend. Each artist is a multiple Nā Hōkū Hanohano Award-winner, and each has a voice and stage presence that carries showstopper wattage. Together, Nāpua, Amy and Raiatea will present two memorable concerts at the Kahilu Theatre. Tickets can be purchased at kahilutheatre.org, by phone at (808) 885-6868, or at the Kahilu Theatre Box Office located at 67-1186 Lindsey Road, Kamuela (Waimea).

GYPSY (the musical) at the Hilo Palace Theatre (October 18-20, 2019). Friday and Saturday shows are at 7pm and Sunday matinées are at 2:30 p.m. Tickets are $15 General Admission, $25 Side Reserved, and $30 Center Reserved. All adult tickets will be $5 more on Day of Show. Children 12 and under are $5 in advance and $8 Day of Show. Tickets are available at the Palace Box Office, over the phone at (808) 934-7010, and general admission tickets are available ONLINE at www.hilopalace.com.

Lucky Tongue at Queens’ MarketPlace (Saturday, October 19, 2019 from 6-8 p.m.). Classic rockers Lucy Tongue will perform a free two-hour concert at the Coronation Pavilion. Queens’ MarketPlace is located at 69-201 Waikoloa Beach Drive, Waikoloa. Info: (808) 886-8822.
