Gertrude’s Jazz Bar is currently closed and is looking for a new owner. Other closed Big Island venues include the Honokaa People’s Theatre, Aloha Theatre, and the Kahilu Theatre. The Kahilu Theatre announced the 18th Annual ‘Ukulele and Slack Key Guitar Festival will be available only on Kahilu.TV and will feature Sonny Lim, Mike Kaawa, Nathan Aweau, Jeff Peterson, Ledward Kaapana, Brittni Paiva, Raiatea Helm, Charles Brotman, John Keawe, Blayne Asing, and other special guests. Mark your calendars for November 20 & 21, 2020 and stay tuned for more details!
