Big Island’s Jesse Snyder Releases New Single with Album On The Way

Jesse Snyder, saxophonist and primary horn arranger for Nā Hōkū Hanohano Award winners Kahulanui, has just released a single from his solo vocal album MUSE (projected release in February 2020).

“Do Nothin’ Til You Hear From Me,” a classic Duke Ellington tune, showcases Snyder’s smooth baritone voice with bluesy saxophone tones and complimentary drum stylings. It is one of the thirteen tunes on the MUSE album. The track captures the sensual and sophisticated sound that is Jesse’s vision for his first album.

MUSE is set to be released in early 2020 and may come as a surprise to those who know Snyder as a whimsical and vivacious person. On this album, Snyder pays tribute to the most inspirational and supportive people that have had a significant impact on him throughout his life.  It has been a labor of love producing this album dedicated and inspired by the muses that have shaped and colored his life.

Snyder has been in the studio at Mana Music Studio for the better part of this year recording while playing his four regular gigs on the Big Island of Hawaii, touring with Kahulanui on the mainland and performing with other musical artists. His vision for the album is to evoke an unparalleled musical experience through intimacy and love.
