The Kahilu Theatre will present Blayne Asing — Take 2! live on Sunday, Dec. 12, 2021, at 4 p.m. Following his concert, there will be a talk-story with Blayne. Bailey Matsuda (keyboards), Stephen Inglis (guitar), Richard Heirakuji (bass), and Mark Lindberg (drums) will join the Nā Hōkū Hanohano Award-winner Blayne Asing on stage for the show.

Born and raised on the island of Oahu, Blayne Asing is a self-taught musician who first picked up the ‘ukulele and guitar at eight. Besides playing various instruments, Asing is a prolific songwriter with a distinctive voice and a unique country/folk/island style. Blayne is looking forward to playing with this band and will perform new songs from his upcoming album release. “I haven’t seen or played with my bandmates since before COVID. We’re all just really looking forward to being together, playing together, and making music together at the Kahilu.”

IN PERSON: The Kahilu Theatre will offer In-Person tickets to a reduced-capacity audience for this show. Social distancing, mask-wearing, and sanitization protocols are in place. Proof of vaccination OR Proof of a negative PCR test taken within 72 hours of entering the theatre is required for In-Person attendance. In-Person tickets range from $65 — $35 and can be purchased at KahiluTheatre.org.
