Coming from the stages of Broadway, Metropolitan Opera, TV, Film, Carnegie Hall and Lincoln Center, Mr. James delighted audiences with smooth, bold, bass-baritone sound, singing his favorite holiday tunes accompanied by pianist Loren Wilkins, in an intimate outdoor setting at a private residence outdoors in Kona.
Frank Meyer, founder of the Hoku Concert Series, said, “We are fortunate that he has taken time out of his busy schedule to perform in Hawaii exclusively for the Series, this time benefiting West Hawaii Dance Theatre and Academy.” WHDT is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit and is known for its quality dance, curriculum-based education, and has served the West Hawaii community for over 25 years, with support from the community donors.”
WHDT will also be performing Nutcracker Ballet on stage for a limited audience at Kahilu Theatre this Thursday, Dec. 23, at 12 & 3 p.m. Families from around the island enjoy this annual production each December with a cast of local dancers as well as professional guest artists from the mainland.”
