Big Island Jazz and Blues Festival

June 4 @ 5:00 pm - 9:00 pm

The ninth annual Big Island Jazz and Blues Festival will take place on June 4, 2022, between 5-9 p.m. at the Mauna Kea Beach Hotel. The main event will feature Grammy Award-winning Jazz, Blues, Rock, Zydeco, Cajun, and Soul musicians and there will be pre-festival events starting on June 2. Ticket info is below.

“With the festival approaching a decade, we prevailed to bring another fantastic line-up to Hawai’i Island that will erupt with pure aloha and JazzFEST Fun, New Orleans Style!” said founder, Maui Emmy, and Billboard Music Award-winning filmmaker Ken Martinez Burgmaier.

Pre-festival Events
When: Thursday, June 2, 6-9 p.m.
Where: Redwater Cafe in Waimea
Event: Dinner event with the artists offering a sample of the JazzFest.Dinner reservations are recommended.

When: Friday, June 3, 6-9 p.m.
Where: Copper Bar at the Mauna Kea Beach Hotel
Event: Dinner event with a sneak preview and meet-and-greet with JazzFest artists. Reservations are recommended.

JazzFest
When: Saturday, June 4, 5-9 p.m. Gates open at 4:30 pm
Where: Oceanfront stage at the Mauna Kea Beach Hotel.

The Big Island Jazz and Blues Festival have been hosting at Mauna Kea Beach Hotel since the first event was held in 2011. The festival is produced by award-winning Filmmaker Kenneth K.
