The Kahilu Theatre is opening up a dance floor in the extended Main Stage/Mike Luce Studio (MLS) as part of the “Dance Night at Kahilu” series, featuring live music with local jam band Lorenzo’s Army Thursday, Oct. 3, 2019 at 7 p.m. Ticket info below.
Lorenzo’s Army has been playing music on the Big Island for 20 years at well-known local hotspots, music clubs, and private events. The band specializes in “good time music for the masses” covering everything from Etta James to Bruno Mars with strong grooves and powerful harmonies.
With the stunning and powerful vocals and percussion from Melissa Samura, Larry Roppolo on guitar and vocals, Clay Matsuzaki on bass, Scott Nelson on keyboards and vocals, Diesel Tucker on drums and vocals, these musicians create a powerful sound that is guaranteed to make you want to dance.

Doors will open for the MLS (Mike Luce Studio) at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 3 with the performance starting at 7 p.m. A cash bar will be available with beer, wine, and flavored sparkling water on offer.
