MARK HAYES CHORAL WORKSHOP & CONCERT FEBRUARY 16-17
Mr. Hayes will be holding a two-day workshop focused on the art of choral singing, through the preparation of seven of his compositions: Friday, February 16, 6 – 9 PM and Saturday, February 17, 9 AM – 5 PM at St. James’ Episcopal Church in Waimea. The compositions will be performed in a culminating concert on Sunday, February 18 at 4 PM in Kahilu Theatre. Workshop organizers Everett Knowles, Julia Taylor, Edith Kawai and Barbara Kopra would like to invite all interested singers and choral directors to participate in this incredible opportunity. Note sessions to get familiar with the music will be offered Saturdays February 3 & 10 at St. James’. It is important to know the music so that workshop time can focus on choral skills and musicality. Registration for the workshop and music is $65.
