About: Twenty20Sound is located just 10 minutes south of the Kona airport below Costco on the beautiful Big Island of Hawaii. We offer post production sound encompassing: dialogue editorial, sound design, ADR, VO, Foley, and re-recording. We also offer record production from start to finish as well as composing for film, TV, and many other multimedia applications. Twenty20Sound has a JBL LSR4300 5.1 and separate 2.1 system installed in a treated dubbing stage. We have fiber optic through Sohonet along with Source-Connect Pro 3.9, Source-Connect Now and Source-Live for high-speed connection to facilities around the world.Twenty20Sound is housed in a 14,000sqf-shared facility called Honua Studios and is part of the Global Virtual Studio (GVS) community.

About: LAVA TRACKS RECORDING STUDIO is the personal studio of GRAMMY Award-winning producer and composer, guitarist, Charles Michael Brotman. The facility was designed by Chris Pelonis of Pelonis Sound & Acoustics, a nominee for MIX Magazine’s TEC Award for studio design.Located in scenic Kamuela on the Big Island of Hawaii, Lava Tracks is a 20 minute drive from the luxury resort hotels on the Kohala Coast.Since opening in 1998, music from Lava Tracks Recording Studio has appeared on TV, in ads and movies, and on GRAMMY nominated and award-winning CDs.

The studio is located on the east side of the Big Island of Hawai’i. Our experience and our passion are our biggest strengths. Using nothing but high end equipment we are committed to creating the best possible environment for capturing and fulfilling your vision. We have produced many albums (some on the radio), voice-overs, radio and TV advertisements, jingles, etc., in a plethora of genres including reggae, jazz, big band, pop, Christian, folk, spiritual, singer-songwriter, new age, country, Hawaiian, world music, neo-soul, funk, rap, hip hop, and more.
We have been operating on Hawai’i Island for almost 10 years. The studio is owned and operated by Michael Surprenant, who spent many years producing and playing on records in New York City before ending up here in paradisiacal Hawai’i.
Sonic Sculpture is Hawaii’s newest and most innovative recording studio. Located just one block from Hilo bay front, our facility is in the heart of downtown Hilo! Specializing in commercial post-production, live bands, singer-songwriters, and sound design, Sonic Sculpture is fully equipped to meet your audio needs.
Sonic Sculpture was created by producer/engineer Sam Bradley. With well over a decade of experience, Sam’s musical foundation began at the Conservatory of Recording Arts and Sciences in Tempe, Arizona. One of the country’s premier schools for audio and music production. Sam has worked on Neve, SSL, and Avid (Digidesign) recording consoles in legendary facilities such as The Plant Studios (RIP), Earthwire Studios, and Polarity Post Production. Sam has done Post Production for Disney (Higglytown Heroes), live sound mixing for Nickelodeon (Paradise Run) and has had work featured on Freesurf Magazine’s website.
Sam is also an accomplished musician who has toured internationally and recorded with Medicine for the People, performed with Grammy Award winning artists, and played on countless studio sessions . Sam is currently playing with the band Ironwoods, an indie/alt rock group that explores uncharted waters.
Sonic Sculpture is currently focusing on sound for video and radio spots.
