This fall, Prince Dance Institute (PDI) is offering more than thirty performing arts classes at Kahilu Theatre in Waimea (Kamuela). Enrollment for classes is now open. The semester begins Tuesday, September 3, 2019, and runs weekly through Thursday, December 19, 2019. Represented in the offerings are the disciplines of dance, theatre, music, and acrobatics—with classes available for all ages and skill levels. Performance opportunities are available for interested students.
“This year we are pleased to offer a large range of performing arts classes for all levels—from Pre-Glee and Acting (level 1) to adult Hip Hop, and advanced levels of Ballet and Contemporary classes,” said Angel Prince, PDI Artistic Director.
“After the success of our performance of Perspektives last year, and the growing student body, we have decided to add a Winter Performance in addition to our long-standing spring performance,” Prince added. “For our younger and lower level students this will be a special showcase geared just for them, giving them a chance to perform without the time commitment and stress levels of our story driven spring show.”
The winter recital is on Sunday, December 8 at 4 p.m. at the Kahilu Theatre on the Main Stage.
