Prince Dance Theatre (PDT) will present its first-ever Winter Recital on Sunday, Dec. 8, 2019, at 12 p.m. at the Kahilu Theatre. The hour-long performance features students from Prince Dance Institute (PDI) and will be a fun-filled, romp through dance, music, circus arts, and more. The recital is directed by Prince Dance Theatre and Institute Artistic Director, Angel Prince. Ticket info below.
The Winter Recital will showcase beginner and intermediate students from Prince Dance Institute’s Hip Hop, Contemporary Dance, Trapeze, Aerial Silks, Glee, and Musical Theatre classes. There will also be guest performances from the PDI Performance Troupe, the Adult Hip Hop crew, and the Prince Dance Institute Instructors.
“Seeing our youngest students on stage, sharing their art with the audience is such an inspirational and uplifting way to spend an afternoon,” Prince says. “It will be such a thrill for some of these first-time performers to participate in their first professional stage production with costumes and lighting, alongside some of our most seasoned performers. This will be a show where memories are made, and we hope the community will join us in supporting our thriving performance art community.”
