California rockers, Robert Jon &The Wreck, will be appearing one night only at the Courtyard Marriott King Kamehameha’s Kona Beach Hotel on August 17, 2018. This band is quickly becoming a force to be reckoned with. This quintet is dedicated, driven, and committed to giving their fans one hell of a Rock and Roll show – night after night, and town after town.
In just the last four years they’ve pumped out two full-length albums, two EPs and a cassette tape, as well as played hundreds of shows across the world, including 31 states in the US and nine countries across mainland Europe. With the release of a new full-length, self-titled record, this team of follicular proficient troubadours isn’t slowing down anytime soon.
Hawaii’s own Larry Dupio, winner of the “Rock Album of the Year” at the 2018 Na Hoku Hanohano Awards will be opening the show. Inspired by Blues Masters like Muddy Waters, John Lee Hooker and Albert King, Larry comes to the forefront with a style all his own.
The concert is brought to you by music promoter and producer Gary Hicks of B.D. McGee’s, who has relocated to Hawaii. “My goal is to bring attention and support to the local music community here on the Big Island,” says Hicks.
