and the Lions Club of Kona Community Foundation.

Lions Club volunteers are silent angels in the community giving their time and money to many local communal projects that benefit the greater good. In 2017, the Lions Club awarded a total of $5000 in continued education scholarships to 6 graduating seniors from Konawaena High School.

Kahulanui

The “core four” of the band are Patrick Eskildsen on electric bass, lead guitar and vocals; Duke Tatom on ‘ukulele and vocals; Tim Taylor on drums/percussion and band originator, Lena Naipo on lead vocals and guitar.

Kahulanui’s exciting horn section is comprised of Jesse Snyder on tenor sax, clarinet and flute, Bill Noble on alto sax and flute, Vincenzo D’Angelo on trombone, Joshua Timmons and Eldred Ahlo on trumpet in the Hawaiian Islands and Dave Clausnitzer on trumpet when on tour and the authentic sound of the Hawaiian steel guitar is Dwight Tokumoto.
